Wet room specialists in Pembrokeshire
Wet rooms are what we're known for. C&I Bathroom and Wet Room Specialists design and fit wet rooms across Pembrokeshire, from sleek, modern walk-in wet rooms to fully accessible wet room adaptations for people with changing mobility needs.
A wet room only works if the parts you can't see are done properly. Every wet room we fit is fully waterproofed, laid to the correct fall so water drains away where it should, and finished to a standard you'll be happy to live with for years.
Wet room adaptations
A large part of our work is adapting bathrooms so people can stay safe and independent at home, whether that's after an illness or injury, as someone gets older, or when a family's needs change. We carry out wet room adaptation work for Pembrokeshire County Council, as well as for private homeowners and families across the county.
We plan every adaptation around the person who'll be using it. That means thinking about how they get in and out of the room, whether they need space for a shower chair or a carer, what support they need to stand and sit safely, and how to make the room easy to keep clean. The result is a bathroom that's safe and practical without feeling like a hospital.
Wet room adaptations we fit
- Level-access (flush floor) showers with no step or tray lip
- Bath-to-shower and bath-to-wet room conversions
- Non-slip safety flooring throughout the room
- Grab rails and support rails positioned where they're needed
- Fold-down shower seats
- Comfort-height toilets and accessible basins
- Thermostatic showers to prevent scalding
- Half-height shower doors or curtains to allow a carer to assist
Council-funded adaptations
Because we carry out adaptation work for Pembrokeshire County Council, we're used to fitting adaptations to the standard the council expects. If you think you might be eligible for help with the cost of adapting your home, contact Pembrokeshire County Council and ask about a Disabled Facilities Grant. If you're paying privately, we'll visit, talk through what's needed and quote directly.
Modern wet rooms for any home
Wet rooms aren't only for accessibility. A well-designed wet room is one of the most stylish and practical bathrooms you can have: open, easy to clean and ideal for making a small bathroom or en-suite feel bigger. We fit contemporary wet rooms with large-format tiles, frameless glass screens, linear drains and rainfall showers for homeowners across Pembrokeshire.
How we build a wet room
- Survey. We check the floor construction, drainage route and walls to plan the right approach for your home.
- Floor and drainage. We install a floor former laid to the correct gradient, with a centre or linear drain sized for your shower.
- Tanking. Walls and floor are fully waterproofed, with sealed joints, corners and pipe entries, before any tiles go on.
- Tiling and flooring. We finish with tiles or non-slip safety flooring, depending on the look and level of grip you need.
- Fit-out. The shower, screens, rails, sanitaryware and accessories are fitted and tested, then we hand over a clean, ready-to-use room.

Wet room FAQs
Can any bathroom be turned into a wet room?
Most bathrooms can, but it depends on the floor construction and the drainage route. Timber floors are usually straightforward. Concrete floors may need a little more work to create the fall to the drain. We'll check this on our free survey and explain the options.
Will water go everywhere?
Not if it's built properly. The floor is laid to a fall so water runs straight to the drain, and the whole area is waterproofed underneath. A glass screen or curtain keeps splashes away from the rest of the room.
How long does a wet room adaptation take?
Most wet room adaptations take between one and two weeks, depending on the size of the room and the work involved. We'll give you a realistic timescale with your quote and keep you updated throughout.
Do you fit wet rooms for private customers as well as the council?
Yes. As well as adaptation work for Pembrokeshire County Council, we fit wet rooms and accessible bathrooms directly for homeowners and families across Pembrokeshire.
